Makes me wonder!

Not mind blowing but its something!
I have my fair share of consoles in the past as outlined my "History of Gaming"but i do love my 360 to bits, but sometimes i do wonder what microsoft are doing?
As  have just been checkng my twtter account out, news came through that the PS3 is getting ITV player and 4OD,now i know that these are not amazing addtions to the PS3 they are certainly making me look at Microsofts ability to add such additions to there NEW but still sparse dashboard.
OK the 360 has sky player, great, but if you are not a subscriber its completley useless to you,or you could subscribe to use the service, but why would you?after paying almost £40 a year for the Gold membership.
So where does this money go,the PS3 offers their online services for free as does the Wii which also has the BBC iPlayer, some say that the online servive on the 360 surpasses the PS3 ie finding a game, voice chat etc..
Doing something right!
but talking to friends who do own the PS3 say that they have no issues at all.
£40,where does it go?
I believe that microsoft need to pull their finger out and start giving their customers something back, instead of naff reward programmes and stupid neXus and sentuamessage which are cringe worthy.
Please do not get me wrong it's not the end of the world that Microsoft don't use such services, but does make wonder if Microsoft sit there with there fingers up there quantum singularity,in between playing on Halo reach and counting the money from gold memberships!
