The British Academy of Film and Television Arts won't be honoring Red Dead Redemption at its annual videogame awards show, but it's not for lack of trying. According to CVG, Rockstar Games turned down the opportunity to receive awards at the early-2011 ceremony.
I really can not understand their decision,as i would have thought this was a given for the BAFTA GOTY after the VGA award,ahh well maybe they are not the one's for a black tie affair.
This news comes straight from a BAFTA representative, who told CVG that, despite Red Dead being "up for awards," the Grand Theft Auto guys "decided not to put the game forward for consideration."
